More About us

It’s always tricky to know where to start when you are searching for a rental property. However, before you start searching you should always be sure that you know what you are looking for, for example; number of bedrooms, outside space, access to amenities etc., and have a rough idea of the budget you are wanting to spend as this will save you time in the long run.

Physical Advertising

Sometimes dependent on the tenant that is searching the old-fashioned way of doing things is best. If you are not entirely internet savvy and prefer looking for advertisements in newspapers or posters in Estate Agent windows then this is the best way to search for a new rental property.

It is also likely that sometimes, if you go and speak to an Estate Agent in person, they will be able to offer you properties that haven’t been advertised online yet as they have only just been given to the Agent themselves. This therefore ensures you are getting first choice of the best properties to then filter down depending on your needs.

Online

However, if you’re planning on relocating to a new area and do not have direct access to the local newspapers and advertisements, then searching online may be a better alternative.

Online property searches, such as on Ezylet.com, are the perfect way to look at a large number of properties in a short space of time. By searching online, you can filter the search specifically to your wants and needs. This avoids even having to scan through anything you don’t want, which is something you would have to do manually searching through newspapers and in Estate Agent windows.

Options

You should also be sure that when you are searching for a property you are quick to eliminate any properties or Landlord/Estate Agents that won’t be able to help you. For example, if you are needing to use a company Guarantor rather than the usual individual friend or family member, you should always check first whether they will accept a company to act as your Guarantor before proceeding with the property and paying any holding deposits. Some of these companies, such as Rent Guarantor, are happy to work with any Landlord or Estate Agent and will be more than happy to provide more information regarding their services if they are unsure due to their lack of knowledge regarding the process.

In conclusion searching for a property is easy if you have your eye on the prize and know exactly what you are looking for. That way you will be sure of the best way to search for the property you want, in the location you want at the price you want. Even if you feel you were able to narrow your choices down, always be sure to check the fine print meets your needs in terms of Guarantor criteria or any terms that would be in the Tenancy Agreement. Always remember that you are the customer and therefore in control of where you want to spend your money. Search thoroughly and you will reap the rewards in the future once you have moved in. All that’s left to say is...Happy rental property searching!
